Weekend Food Backpack Program:  BMS receives bags of food for families who may be needing extra support with food on the weekends.  Backpacks go home with students every Friday.  Please contact the counseling center if your family is in need.

SeaMar: We have a mental health therapist from SeaMar who is available to meet with students every Tuesday.  SeaMar is able to see students who have Medicaid insurance.  Please contact your school counselor for a referral.

True North:  Nasca Merrilees is our Drug & Alcohol Prevention Specialist at BMS and is available 5 days a week.  She is located in B-2 in our 7th grade pod.  You can contact her directly at 360-709-7479 or see your school counselor for a referral.

Multi-Systemic Therapy Program (Community Youth Services):  A voluntary family-focused treatment program that supports a family’s vision for a better future.  For youth ages 12-17.

South Sound Behavioral Hospital Adolescent Program: Mental health inpatient treatment for teenagers 13-17 years old.  They welcome walk-ins, appointments, and referrals.

Parent Education Opportunities:  Our District is excited to offer free parent education classes throughout the school year. Classes are facilitated by local counselor Candyce Bollinger.  For the 2024-25 school year, all of our classes will be fully online to offer more participation in the classes.
